I find this image very contemporary, as it has the modern KL tower in the background with the old temple in the foreground.
I did not replace the sky here, but did some hue and saturation adjustments to get that little blue in it.

@ColNed Pictures: Thanks pal, KL old city is fun to shoot. I am planning another visit soon as in earlier trip i could not get the right shots and it was also not the right day. :)
Love the composition here, pal! Nicely done! Cheers! B-)

@{H} creatives: Thanks pal, always appreciate your kind words and visits. :)
i tried to take pic of KL tower but never manage one like yours, spectacular!:)
@tyan: Thanks pal, you are really generous with your comments. It was just a normal pic in originality cuz the background was really dull. PS saved my day though. :)
Good shot Rahul. Btw, is that a temple? I thought it was a bank building or something like that, that was traditionally designed?

@celialee: Thanks Ai, i believe it was a temple as i saw the monks in and out there. I didnt go in there though. :)
Nice shot and nice colours Rahul

@Vanessa: Thanks Vanessa, am glad you liked it. :)
wow, Rahul. is that the Menara KL? You've composed this one so stunningly, especially the gradation of shape and form - cube, traingle, tower.... A supremely magnificent piece! :)

@Rebecca: Yes its Menara KL in the background. Thanks for the wonderful feedback pal, really appreciate it. If you happen to be in KL sometime, i would show you this contemporary spot. :)
Very nice composition. You are right, it is contemporary, but it shows that the modern tower is grounded in an ancient civilisation.

@Wolfgang Prigge: The tower was about 2 KM away from the old city, but the angle i shot this made it look like as if it was right behind the old building. :) Now isn't that contemporary pal hehe!!!!
Nice juxtaposition of old and new. The detail on the temple is amazing! =-)

@alex: Thanks Alex. :)
So Rahul, you think I could get information about the whole National Fireworks Competition @ Putrajaya thing from you? Cause I only saw it on an advertisement board somewhere on the Federal highway. Don't know much about it and I don't think I can look anywhere else for it. Think you could email me or something about it? Would appreciate that, thanks!

@Josh: Check out www.mifc.com.my. It has all the information you would require. And if you dont plan to buy the tickets and shoot from the convention centre then better make a trip tomorrow to putrajaya to check out the location bro. ;-) I will be there on saturday and probably sunday night. :)
The composition is absolutely great! Love it!

@Helgi: Thanks Helgi, appreciate your visit and kind words. :)
The different buildings form a striking geometry. The high key in the sky has given rise to an interesting effect for the tower as if the top were a sort of UFO.

Really striking picture of the tower Rahul! I think you did a great job adding some blue to the sky - makes the tower look better! Really striking contrasts of architecture ;-)

Rahul! another winner with this one, a great composition. That's one amazing tower, and the temple is fabulous! Great job pal :)

Nicely done Rahul...modern and old school all in the same image!

Contrasting the ancient and the modern; very good composition and presentation.

This current series is going very well, Rahul. Nice clean lines with good perspective control, here. Fascinating contrasts of forms between the old and the new. I must admit that I don't normally go for frames -- especially very ornate ones -- although in this case, the added contrast really does show the photo off.
