Thanks everyone for the wonderful support and encouragement on this series, a few more to come and then i shall be begining a new series soon. Hope you guys haven't got bored.
Red filter effect here would look something like this. Somehow these filters seem to be adding extra spice to the pictures. ;-)
Enjoy!!!!

@Stunner: Thanks Stunner. :) Inspired by the Wayan brother's LOL!!!!
The soft focus has given this fine composition much atmosphere.

@tengtan: Thanks pal, really appreciate your kind words. :)
Nothing wrong with fiddling about in photoshop, that's what it's all about, creating a picture, not necessarily just showing a straight photo. Keep on experimenting.:)

@Dave: Thanks bro, i am enjoying these experiments and learning at the same time. ;-)
Very nice processing, and I agree with Dave.... keep going on..

@ColNed Pictures: Thanks bro, i shall not stop after such encouragement from you. :)
This is beautiful, Rahul. Excellent composition and colour effect. Just like with yesterday's shot, I'm amazed at how what would normally be thought of as overexposure has become somthing completely different.
30 Jul 2007 3:50am
@Andrew Gould: Thanks Andrew, and you are absolutly right about the overexposure, though it was a part of the processing to incerase the softness. However, like you said, here it gives is a different meaning all together and its something i liked when i printed it.
Photoshop really rocks, and there is no end to creativity when you have that tool installed on your PC. :)
Lovely post processing.

@MaryB: Thanks Mary, i was wondering if people would like that wierd filter, somehow i like it, because it really borught out the soft ripples well. :) Thanks a lot for keeping a check on my work buddy. ;-)
PS : How would you like it if you don't have to use the Microsoft Paint and so many other softwares to touch up the photo ? And you have right on your PC, what i love most ?? ;-) I will tell you how in the email. Look for my email tomorrow on the fsmail. Cheers!!!!
What an unusual mood here!Nicely processed!

@Shahab: Thanks Shahab, i was kinda skeptical about the red color though. :-)
even with that deep red, the birds still leave a soft feel to this shot. great processing
30 Jul 2007 6:23am
@Nick Passantino: Thanks Nick, the softness was intentional as part of processing here. It somehow did make an appeal to me. :)
Great shot Rahul...I really like the filter too
30 Jul 2007 8:18am
@Jen: Thanks Jen. Filters are just more colors in life. And this shot could take any filter, though i chose red here. :)
Unusually nice.. Looks like a blood pond with the white birds coming to cleanse it hee Nice one pal!

@Anthony: Thanks Anthony for then Unusually nice comments. ;-)

@alla: Thanks Alla :)
Rahul, good one. My fave though is the blue filter... Do you want to tell me how to do it. Please?! :)
30 Jul 2007 10:05am
@Shutterbug: Thanks pal. Covert the image to black and white, try brightness and contrast with a little blur play until you get the dreamy feel. Then apply the photofilters picking the color of your choice. :) Try it in Photoshop, its really simple. If you cant get it then email me and i will send you detailed steps. :)
I agree with you, the red has an interesting effect, and makes the image quite like a painting
30 Jul 2007 10:31am
@Richard Irwin: Thanks Richard, though its not something conventional when comes to filters. Seldom people play with this color filter hehehe... I am glad it worked here. :)
Very romantic. I can imagine the duck is chasing the other duck =) I like it in blue better though - more mysterious and romantic.
30 Jul 2007 12:44pm
@wendy: You got the interpretation abolutely right here pal. A ROMANTIC image hahaha.... probably thats what was in my head when i was processing this. Thanks a lot pal for the wonderful comments. :)

it is different from the blue effect :) i think i like the blue one better... more cooling and soothing
30 Jul 2007 3:11pm
@Johnny Soedomo: Blue does go well with this image, but i just wanted a change hehehe... since my earlier image was al blue. LOL!!! Thanks bro for the kind words, your feedback is warmly welcomed. :)

lol! I think that those white chicks look hot!
30 Jul 2007 9:41pm
@Rags: Definetly hotter than Wayan brothers. LOL!!! Thanks Rags.
I like the red filter on this. The positiion the swan on the right is in makes me think of a heart and the red just gives the pic a romantic feel. =-)

@Laurie: Thanks Laurie, and you indeed are another hopeless romantic soul. :) I failed to notice that heart shape there though. :)
