This was a pityfull sight though, looking at the condition of this chimpanzee. He was almost close to rotting.
Yet relaxed and enjoying the sunshine, guess thats what life is all about, enjoying the little joys of life.

He does look happy...but then again, we don't really know how they feel. I understand and to some extent agree to the zoo concept but at the same time, there are so many appalling conditions that it makes you sad to see the animals.

Great capture Rahul!!! But I also concur with what Celialee said.... I rarely go to zoos any more. They have their purpose but.... And this shot really is terrific ... you've really captured a moment!!

@amy: I agree with both of you ladies, i dont personally like Zoos either, its real pityful site there at times. And it does make me sad and wonder about who is the most CRUEL animal on this planet earth ?? Any clue ?? Its an easy guess though. :(

@Anthony: Thanks for wonderful comments on the picture pal, and i do hope it got the attention of the authorities, else next time i go there, i would not find him anymore. His condition was really bad, like i said - Almost Rotting.

hehe, i really don't like animal shots... i mean it's just that they're all so common while yours are a nice new angle and they all seem to maintain a degree of happiness in them which is what i like most. congrats on another great shot and the glow just makes it so much better...
