Here is a close look at one of the male models in the Fashion Show. Shooting at fashion show was a real expereince, with flashes firing from all sides, the dim and harsh lights, right exposure was just not an easy game, and worse when you dont get a place at the photographers deck, and have to shoot from between the public. :-)

Good job, inspite of all the obstacles, I like the shadows on his face---and as I live in Milan, there are models galore. Blank faces, so cool they are NOT cool!

@Sylvia Van Nooten: Thanks Sylvia, being in Milan, i bet you are at Model's fair. ;-) I don't doubt that. Thanks for your kind words and visits pal, really appreciate that "Guru". :-)
Nice close shot Rahul! I guess it's cool not to shave nowadays...but I won't tell my son that ; )

@Richard_Irwin: Thanks Richard, glad you liked it. Only models wear dark glasses indoors i guess. ;-)

Great job with a difficult shot! I tried taking photos of my favorite singer on stage a few years ago - but I didn't take my zoom along. The photos were very small so you could hardly see him. Also the lights were constantly changing from light to bright colours, etc. Got to take a few shots backstage later though! I think you have made an excellent portrait shot under those conditions! :)

@Anne: Thanks Anne, the changing lights were the biggest hurdle i faced at the fashion show. As they walk around the lights and colors constantly kept changing and it was really hard to get right exposure. I was kinda lucky with this one i guess. :)
PS. Just had a peek at some of your photos before this one - they are all really good and interesting. The mosque is beautiful and B.and W. but you should convert to black and white before using your filters. Desaturated images won't sell to magazines or competitions where they will use them in print for the winners. They don't print very well in magazines or books.

@Anne: Anne thats really sweet of you, and i so much appreciate that you took time to see my work and your valuable comments. I don't intend to sell any pictures though, i am using a very basic SLR for now. Am planning to get a real good one soon. And i shall try the procedure you mentioned.
For now i am just experimenting, more like training my eyes to see the perspectives and angles :) And your encouragement, tips and comments really lifts up my spirit to perform better and learn more. Thank you very much Anne. :-) I always look forward for your comments. Cheers.
Pretty nice, Rahul.. pretty dang nice! Great framing and colour... now I want to see some butt shots!! LOL just kidding ;-)
