You've done quite well here, swans are really difficult because of their white feathers and considering the poor lighting and long focal length I'm amazed it's not overly blurry, just a little motion blur from the swan moving. I would have changed the iso to 400 and as a general rule I underexpose by two thirds to stop the whites burning out.
A tip, try to keep the shutter speed in line with the focal length to minimise camera shake.e.g 300mm = 1/300sec failing that use some sort of support.

@Dave: Thanks Dave, i know that shutter speed rule, but just forget it in a hurry to take the shot.... hehehe... thats why i say, if only i had your eye and skills. :) And when i shot this, it was really getting dark and this fellow was busy feeding on insects. You are right an ISO 400 and higher shutter speed will make it easier. Thanks again bro, will keep that in mind. ;-)
